Trouble has found us again

Well, I knew this was too good to last - the doggy curse has followed us yet again. I had a wonderful relaxing morning until I get a call from my son - apparently my diva - Isis, managed to get a hold of a Bud Light Can and managed to slice her paw pad clear through. Well, after asking for the umpteenth time what I was supposed to do I'm out here in FL, I called the vet. He recommended we bring her in. So my two oldest, Megan and Andrew, pop BOTH dogs - Isis and Chloe into his car and hightailed it to Irvine. There, it was determined that she would indeed need stitches. So, they put her under for about 1 1/2 hrs and put a bandage on her. The blue bandage comes off on Sunday but the stitches will need to come off May 27th.

I call it a curse because every time I'm out here, that dang dog does something to merit a visit to the vet this one has been the most expensive so far - $350 dollars. The first time was when she was 6 months old - she fainted and fell in the pool. The following year, Chloe - the ghost dog - got stung by a wasp and need emergency treatment. Now - this year - Isis acts up again - and this after she had an emergency extraction. I knew I should have boarded those dang dogs! Anyway, looks like I have learned another hard lesson.

In the meantime, it is now Saturday morning - we will be departing - Saratoga Springs Resort - in about 10 hrs to take ourselves to Port Canaveral for our Magic-ical start of our cruise. I am starting to get excited. LOL

In the meantime - just had to share a few things. On our first night - DH bought me the nightgown above - I'm so glad he finally understands! ROTFL and the 2nd picture if for those that can't quite make out the wording. LOL

Second, for mother's day I got me a camera backpack that hold all my lenses and can even hold a second body. Too bad I let Steve talk me out of bringing my 30D. I will have to post a picture of that later on. For now - here it is - I have got to attempt sleep soon - this is too much deja vu!
