Update

Hey all - just wanted to get one last post in. We arrived at MCO at 5:10 - about 15 minutes ahead of schedule. It was not such a good flight - very bumpy and DH almost lost it - I too have to admit that it made me queasy too. The flight was a full one and I lost count after 12 kids - the worst part about it was that about 9 of them were under the age of 3. Don't get me wrong - I like kids but not loud, screaming ones. There were a couple in particular - I felt really bad for the mom - did not stop screaming the ENTIRE time. That's ok -- cause I managed to get my noise-cancelling earphones out and I fell asleep for one hour - until DH figured out what I had and stole them from me. All's fair in love and war right??? LOL Guess I should have gotten him some for his birthday. LOL Oh well, live and learn.

We ended up checking into our room at SSR. We had to get a one-bedroom which is really much smaller than the one-bedroom at OKW. We stayed there last Sep and DH thought it would be the same size. WRONG! Still very nice and especially nice since its just us two! No kids underfoot.

We ended up getting a silver Chevy trailblazer for about $50/day plus tax and its fine for us two. BTW, DD-Megan called - my baby made it safe and sound. However, I received this sad, sad picture of my Isis - furr kid - searching the house for me - so now I have the guilt trip. OH well, I'm sure I'll get over it.

Did I mention that there was a poor doggy in cargo? Poor baby was barking almost the entire time and was so estastic to be let out. The cargo people allowed the owners to take the dog out and leash him up in the baggage claim area. I think the dog was some lab or golden retriever type. Friendly type so probably why they didn't make a big deal. Let me tell you, I know exactly how that dog felt. When we got to the room - all I wanted to do was veg out on the couch.

Anyway, when we finally got around to discussing dinner - DH wanted Shoney's - anyone remember the chocolate cake that Bob's Big Boy used to sell with ice cream in the middle? Yup - that one - well, Shoney's here sells it so guess where we went? Then after we hit Walgreens to stock up on some supplies like lens cleaner solution and shampoo - things I didn't want to take a chance on. So, here I was about to go to bed when the computer dinged saying its clean-up was done so I jumped on here so as not to fall behind. Don't worry folks, I will calm down once I'm on the ship. Probably lucky if I log on at least once a day. LOL

I will see if I can post a picture of the cake -anyway, tomorrow we will be hosting a small meet at our room and I believe those attending will be Esteri, Arlene and DH, and us. Maybe our Cpt Jack if he gets a chance - oh and Liz and Camillo hopefully. Anyway, its almost 1 here and I have had almost no sleep in the last 48 hrs. I am finally allowing myself to get all excited about this trip and the excitement has started to increase. Heck, I'm even debating on getting a massage while I'm here if they have an opening. Why not - I'm on vacation!

So, in order to conserve myself, I will log off now. Oh yeah, spoke with Todd, he said that the parks have been really nice and not too crowded - lets hope it hold out like that. I would at least like to attend one park before I leave.
